We have also included the alternative track from Monfalcone to Clauiano: this is because from Trieste to Monfalcone you should pedal almost exclusively on state road with cars. In alternative, you can choose to make a transfer from Hotel Modernist to Monfalcone and start your cycling route from there. The service will be provided by our on-site contact person with a basic private vehicle at no additional cost.
The track from Monfalcone to Clauiano (without Trieste) is still of 73 km because you will cross all the beautiful Cavanata Reserve with the bike path and get to Grado; then follow the Alpe Adria to Palmanova/Clauiano.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
For cycling we recommend being as light as possible: sneakers, k-way, backpack, sweatshirt/sweater, t-shirt, technical and comfortable clothing for cycling, the 0.5l water bottle, hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, sunscreen, shorts and cycling gloves (recommended). Something heavier for the evening.

When making your reservation, please enter in the form any personal limitations due to health status, disability or other
indications that we must take into consideration when confirming and arranging your vacation. In case of
omissions it will not be possible to consider any request, or refund as a result of non-acceptance.
If you wish to request a vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free menu or report food intolerances and/or allergies, do not
forget to indicate this right away in the reservation form under “other requests.” The accompanying person and the
facilities will then be able to take this into account when organizing the cuisine. In some destinations, however, it may prove
difficult to find special foods, for example gluten-free, so we recommend that you bring them with you.
